Swimming

The Dolphins Perth Leisure Pool Disabled Club formed in January 1989 with the backing of Perth & Kinross Sports Council and Live Active Leisure.  Both organisations were very much aware of the demand for the club, which could provide disabled access to the swimming pool.  A weekly slot was offered in the training pool, plus concessionary entry fees for club members.  The Dolphins aim is to provide a friendly environment in which any physically disabled or person with learning disabilities can gain enjoyment from the relaxing effect of water regardless of the ability.

General Information

Open to all ages the club meets every Sunday 10am - 11am and 5pm - 6pm.  New members must be accompanied by a helper in the first instance, who is able to swim, but this need can be assessed from time to time.  Anyone who would like more information about the club, either as a Member of a volunteer helper should contact Karen Steel, 01738 454666
