Family Activity Days

Young people with disabilities and their families are invited to take part in activities together with other families.  Activities delivered will be varied and we often have guest coaches from local sports clubs providing a taster session.  Standard activities such as boccia, indoor curling, ball games/skittles will also be on offer each month.

The Family Activity Days provide an excellent opportunity for young people to develop confidence and skills in a safe and supported environment.  They are also a great place to make new friends and offer an additional networking opportunity for parents.

The sessions take place between 10am-12noon on the last Saturday of the month. Costs are £3 for 2 people to attend or £5 for a family of more than 2 people.  The next session on 24 June will take place at the Academy of Sport & Wellbeing at Perth College

The dates up to Summer 2017 are:

  • 25 February - Perth Table Tennis Club
  • 25 March - No Limits Cricket (cricket skills e.g. throwing, catching, hitting) followed by a game Batters vs Fielders
  • 29 April - basketball coaching
  • 27 May - Letham Lions
  • 24 June - Fun Day - last session of the term so lots of fun things to do! ** please note different venue above and that there will be no Rebound Therapy at this session
